Description
The final animation for the checkpoint object that will be used for the game that the team Level On-E entertainment is whipping up, "Dropping Danger". Used black background to better convey the effect wanted.
As the animation suggests, the pole stays there will the little wool ball moving about. When Whiskers, the cat, touches it from any side, the animation starts. There is sound, too, but this you will have to check on the game when it comes out
An interesting curiosity is that the pole is asymmetrical. As the cat touches it, the ball must move to the corresponding side. Thus, two animations were made to correspond to this little detail. There is nothing different between the two animations, only the direction of the wool ball respecting the asymmetry. This will not be a "mirrored" object.
Here I show the animation on it's raw glory, but in-game it'll be accompanied by a green spotlight effect. The checkpoints will come in various colors.
